Real Maryland Wedding Stories
"We wanted to honor my Nigerian-Senegalese heritage while including James's Southern roots. Koité Grill created a fusion menu that had our guests talking for months! The whole Mechoui lamb was stunning, and even my meat-and-potatoes relatives loved the Jollof rice. Worth every penny."
Married: October 2025 at The Fillmore Silver Spring
"As a Muslim couple, finding halal catering that was elegant and delicious was challenging. Koité Grill exceeded our expectations! The food was incredible, the presentation beautiful, and the staff was professional. Our guests from Senegal said it tasted just like home. Alhamdulillah!"
Married: June 2025 at The Hotel at UMD
"Neither of us has African heritage, but we fell in love with Koité Grill's food while dating. Everyone told us it was 'risky' to do African food for a wedding, but it was the best decision! It made our wedding unique, and we got SO many compliments. Several guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had."
