What We Stand For

T

Teranga

Senegalese Hospitality

In Wolof, Teranga means hospitality — the spirit of welcoming guests like family. Every plate we serve carries this tradition.

H

Halal

Always Certified

All our meats are halal-certified and sourced from trusted suppliers. Quality and faith go hand in hand.

W

Wood-Fired

Charcoal Grilled

We grill over real charcoal — the way it's been done in Dakar for generations. No shortcuts, no gas grills.

Our Story

From Dakar to Your Door

From a halal butcher shop in Langley Park to Maryland's favorite Senegalese restaurant — the Koité family has been sharing the flavors of Dakar since 2012.

What started as Star Halal, a small shop where the community gathered for quality meats, grew into Koité Grill — a place where every plate carries the spirit of Teranga, Senegalese hospitality.
